Rapid Weight Loss Diet
Rapid weight loss diet
What’s the best road to quick weight loss?
If your diet has slowly ground to a halt, then we have some great tips to kick start it back into action. We look at some of the best ways to keep you motivated, and achieve rapid fat loss. Follow our fool proof advice below -
Find alternatives for things you can’t do without – Nowadays there are low fat versions of just about everything, just make sure they are not full of sugar instead of fat. If you fancy a bag of crisps there are now plenty of wholegrain sorts which have been fried in sun-seed oil – Walkers Sunbites are one example which only have 117 calories per bag and 0.6g of saturated fat.
Avoid emotional eating – Eating when you’re sad, bored or stressed is a bad habit that can quickly lead to weight gain. Make a list of alternate things to do when the mood strikes. Any bout of exercise can release endorphins in the brain which make you feel happy, not to mention the calories you will burn!
Is it really hunger? – Ask yourself why you really want that snack; is it actually hunger or something else like boredom? Around 50% of the time its not hunger.
Don’t starve yourself – When you start losing weight, it can be tempting to cut back more to get even greater results. However, this can put your body in starvation mode and put a stop to your regular metabolism. Instead try and aim for steady weight loss of no more than 2lbs per week.

Chart your progress – Sometimes it can look as if you’re not losing weight and you may have the occasional week where you put weight on.
This is why it can help to record your daily weight at the same time each day and track it over a month. If you put the results on a graph you may see the line go up and down a little, but overall it should be heading downwards.
Go out and buy your ideal dress size - This will give you a goal against which you can measure yourself too every couple of weeks. There is no better motivation then slowly being able to get in to your dream size.
Put a stop to binging – If your diet slips one day and you have a binge, don’t wait until tomorrow to put it right. Have a ritual such as drinking a glass of water to signal the end of eating and get back on track right away. This will make recurring lapses shorter.
Use the mirror not the scales – If you are starting to exercise more then naturally you will gain a certain amount of muscle. This can cause problems if you are relying on weighing scales as a guide to how much fat you have, as muscle weighs much more than fat. Many first time dieters believe they are not losing weight when in actual fact they are, the best advice is to ditch the scales for the short term and use the mirror.
Still not seeing any weight loss results?
If you still feel like achieving your goal weight is hopeless, then don’t give up hope just yet. Try supplementing your diet with a weight loss supplement, these will give you a helping hand on your road to weight loss.
If you find yourself constantly hungry all the time opt for an appetite suppressant such as Hoodia, or if you are struggling with over eating go for a fat binder such as Proactol.
